Presenting a lush thick wool with a slightly rustic look, in big glorious 100-gram skeins. For this worsted / aran weight we recommend a needle size 5½ - 6 mm, which makes for a quick knit. Woolpower is easy to work with and is loosely spun, which gives a dazzling look to your finished projects. This yarn is also great for toasty afghans, jumpers, and cardigans.
View Woolpower and its amazing color-changing variations here. The colors transition from one color to the next and thus create beautiful, surprising hues. You can e.g. knit patterns with a color-changing variation on a one-colored background to create an interesting and different result.
Woolpower can also be felted and is very apt for felted slippers, mittens, and loads of luscious home decor.
Please be aware that the yarn's thickness varies quite a bit, providing the yarn with its very own expression.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 1976-294). Find more information about the certification on https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

I was happily surprised by this wool. I was worried about the texture for such a well priced yarn, but I'm impressed by how soft it is. I wouldn't make baby clothes from it, but it works will for winter accessories for teens and adults. Maybe it's due to the way it's spun loosely, the texture in in between a roving and a classic yarn. It's a thick worsted yarn, so it works up super fast, which I love. I've wet felted one project made with this yarn, which worked really well. I am worried that over time any project made with this would felt, so beware
So, I just finished the Freya sweater this week, so I have no idea how the yarn will wear, as in pilling or not. It is wonderful to knit with. Plus, I knit nearly the ENTIRE sweater between a 2-hour car ride to the airport, waiting to board on two flights, going through immigration and customs, and 13 hours on two planes. It felt really good, as I never can sleep on flights. My daughter will love her "treat" resulting from my frustration in being in packed quarters at airports...like most folks, I knit faster when upset.
This yarn is incredible! I had never gotten any 100% wool before because I had heard bad things, but I decided to take the risk because Hobbii always has incredible yarn. I have to say, my expectations were blown away! It is not irritating at all, which is great for my sister who I crocheted a scarf for with it, and the stitch definition is amazing! And the saturation of the color is out of this world!
Very soft and perfect for knitting jumpers with. I have used this yarn for several jumpers and it is warm, soft, and really nice to work with. It works with both singular colours and with patterns. The colours are true to the pictures and you can easily chose the colouring for your work based on the pictures.
Hobbii has yet again stocked up on an awesome product. Love the yarn and its range :)
I just completed the hat pattern, free on ravelry.com called Smooth Stone Hat and I used Wool Power Burnt Carmel. The color is just so pretty and I had a ton of yarn leftover, making it a super awesome deal all around. I have loved every color I have tried so far and am putting the leftover yarn in a bag so later on I can make super cool striped hats too. I highly recommend Wool Power.
