Super Kid Silk is Mayflower's ultra soft, light and delicious mohair yarn, which consists of 76% mohair and 24% silk, both in the finest, most exquisite quality. You will really be able to feel the quality when you touch and handle the yarn. Super Kid Silk is recommended for a size 4.5 - 5 mm needle, but can also be knitted on larger needles for a more airy finish.
This soft and airy yarn is extremely useful for any knitted sweaters, vests, pullovers and shawls, both in combination with another yarn and by itself in all its simplicity. If you choose to combine Super Kid Silk with a different yarn, you not only get the opportunity to combine the colors to create a more variegated look, but also at the same time you can add a little extra texture to your knitwear.
Super Kid Silk is available in a wide variety of beautiful, trendy colors, so we feel confident guaranteeing that you will find a colorway you like!
Also try the new multicolored Super Kid Silk Print. Here you will find a yarn with the same quality as Super Kid Silk, but with beautiful color changes.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I can't properly relay how happy I am that I found this beautiful mohair! The quality is superb and the price is amazing! I have worked with mohair of varying qualities before and I must say this is the best I have found. I have worked with mohair hanks that have slightly less percentage of mohair than this and cost 2-3 times more per gram. All mohair can be a bit of a pain to work with (if you have to frog your work mostly), but overall this was a joy to work with and the finished product is so soft and beautiful! The only thing I wish is that they made the silk thread in colors other than white so if held together with other yarn the thread wouldn't show on darker colors. I will continue buying this yarn!
I just love this yarn!
It was a first time I work with this yarn. I have some experience with mohair, so I knew what to expect.
This one is definitely my number 1 now.
Great quality, luxury yarn! Silk and mohair is the best combination in my option.
I will buy this yarn again and will definitely recommend it!
Next to Rowan ~ This is my most fave kidsilk ~ beaufully soft, great halo and superb color range ~ now I getting the hang of working my own coloways and mixes after my Kaffe Fassetts work and my color studies in textiles. Thank you all very much for your kind support, super sales and good wishes ~ your friend Louise
This was my first time working with Mohair. I loved how the yarn worked up. So soft and elegant looking. I made a newborn romper and bonnet in a flash. I was surprised this yarn did not tangle. Congratulations on a very nice product I will be purchasing again.
Beautifully chosen to adapt a free Rowan Yarn Shawl too.
I love perusing all the beautiful colorways of tints and tones
I love mohair for its unique characteristics and the fact I can pass it on to my beloved Grandchild, it is or vintage quality.
