Are you missing new colors to knit the family’s socks? Then Mayflower has some really delightful color combinations for you to start on in this Universe Mars series. The yarn is a classic 75% wool / 25% nylon mix and is durable. A good and fun yarn, for the whole family, that never gets old to knit with.

If you want to see other color combinations, then Mayflower has actually created three more series of this Universe series. Check out the links at the top of this text.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I'm really liking the way this yarn knits up and the patterning (thank you to the people who put photos up to show me what to expect). I'm already looking forward to new socks. The next step will be to happily upload my first photo to the site when I'm finished my first pair of socks with this yarn to show my own work to everyone else.

I'm new to Hobbii. I purchased Mayflower #4. I crocheted a winter hat using a Worsted pattern. I doubled the strands to accommodate the pattern. All I can say is wow!! It worked up very nicely and so very soft. I don't usually use wool blends but the quality of this yarn is outstanding. Super easy to work with too.

I’m a newer knitter so I’m still figuring out gauge. When I worked my sock in the green Mars on a US2 it turned out great! The yarn does tend to split a little, but that wouldn’t keep me from choosing this yarn again. It’s springy and soft. Not sure about warmth yet, but I have high hopes!

Gorgeous!! I didn't think I'd like this color, but Wow!! The yarn is soft and durable (even better after first washing),, and a great price! I've got to get some more of this!

I initially got this to make cloth for premature babies, but I liked the colors so much, i ended up making a jumper for myself. I needed 300 grams for that.
