This was such a nice easy pattern to follow. Enough variety in stitches so that you don’t get bored but repetitive enough that I once you get into the swing of things you don’t need to refer back to the pattern until you’re ready to finish off. I used World of Yarns Manarola, a 5mm hook for the body and a 3.75mm hook for the edge. I’m quite a tight crocheter, so had plenty of yarn (an entire ball!) left over when the pattern recommended starting the edging. I decided to play a bit of yarn chicken and added an extra 4? 6? rows worth of the pattern before starting the edge… and I still had a bit of yarn left over!
The shawl itself is lovely and warm, and looks very pretty.

I saw this pattern for a shawl and really liked it, but I wanted to make a more masculine version so I made it into a flat scarf. The pattern was easy to follow and made a great texture. Highly recommend!
