I am now making my second hat using this pattern. First was with Divina, now I'm using Amigo chunky (which affects sizing, so wish me lucky on my math haha). I really love how textured the final product is. I love how unique this beanie type hat ends up looking. Also, I'm a sucker for top down hats, so I may be biased. I will continue making this hat as it has become my favorite. The pattern is definitely not for brand new beginners, but it really isn't outrageously hard to figure it out. The pictures follow each step at the bottom, and it is well written. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hat that doesn't look like every other crocheted hat pattern out there!!

Stunning beanie & easy to make. Sizing is a tight fit so I added 4 extra stitches to each row with good results. Used a 5mm crochet hook and starlight soft which made the beanie thick and a heavy weight for extra warmth. Very happy and plan to make more for gifts.

This pattern is clearly written out and easy to follow (and includes helpful photos). I really love the way the use of post stitches leaves the finished hat really stretchy and comfortable, and the pom-pom's pretty cute too.

This is my favorite hat pattern. The instructions were very easy to follow. I have made 4 hats already. I used variegated color yarn. It made my hats beautiful. I plan to get the scarf so I can make gift sets.
