This is a really great pattern. It's pretty easy to follow, even for beginners, and the end product looks gorgeous. It works especially well for a yarn that's a bit delicate (say: a strand of glitter running through it that might break or get twisted), or for a yarn that's fuzzier: the use of post stitches makes it easier to find where the hook should be going, and doesn't need to put a lot of stress on the yarn. I highly recommend trying this one out!

First crochet project ever! There are front/back post double crochets involved which I’ve never heard of before but sure easy to figure out with the pictures and instructions. Fantastic

Simple and easy. There are pictures in the pattern. Very easy to follow for a beginner.

I absolutely love the finished headband! It is so pretty! My only problem was the "woven-in" glittering thread separated away from the yarn and was often broken. Otherwise, like I said, the end headband was totally worth the time and effort, gorgeous!
