Budapest - Scrubbing Cloth
Budapest is a mini-collection of patterns with a scrubbing cloth and a little basket. Both are knit with the Christmas yarn, Judy, which is a coarse and very durable yarn that gives the projects a rustic look.
The scrubbing cloth is worked in the flat.

This is an easy beginner pattern knitted as a flat panel in garter stitch. It works up fairly quickly and my piece looked exactly like the photo. The pattern directions were straightforward and well written. This pattern could either be made using 2 sets of straight needles or the 2 different sizes of interchangeable circular needles. The Judy jute has a nice clean smell to it. This would make a practical gift or an easy project to sell.
