Bell - Christmas Socks
The socks are worked in rib on both leg and instep.
The socks can also be worked on a circular needle with the magic loop technique.
The leg is folded to create a small border.

This is a great sock pattern. Pretty simple, but with a few ideas that I hadn't encountered before to keep it interesting (e.g. using decreases and increases in a round partway down the leg to create a kind of 'seam' to keep the cuff in place). The pattern definitely assumes you already know how to make socks at a basic level, so it's maybe not a good place to start for your first pair.
