Yippee! I finally found a sweater pattern that my teenage granddaughter approved! She has not been a fan of "homemade" clothing, not even socks. She's actually excited for me to crochet this sweater for her, claims it doesn't look like Oma made it and is a sweater not found for sale and which no other girls will have -- will be uniquely her own. I'm kinda feeling the pressure, but the instructions are well done and I'll just take my time.

This is a wonderful pattern! I have been afraid of making clothing items ever since a disastrous sweater incident 20 years ago. But I tried with this one because my kiddo wanted it and it was wonderful!! It worked up like a charm, the instructions were clear, and it looks lovely on her. Plus she is thrilled to have it. I strongly recommend this pattern to anyone wanting to get into crocheted clothing!!

I made this sweater using happy toes wool yarn in the color swinging trapeze. The sweater turned out so lovely and soft and gorgeous, that I am 70 percent done with another piece created by Katerina, the sparkling rainbow jumper. I love this pattern...so far. I have a question, has anyone made the 4x size? It doesn't seem like it's gonna be long enough to cover my stomach before I start to make the sleeves. Anyone else have this problem with the 4x? I feel like I need to keep going with my rows before starting to prepare for the sleeves. Thanks for any input!

Simple and easy to follow pattern. I tend to do better if it includes video but happy with this pattern and result.
