Blockers for tensioning of knitted or crocheted projects in hollow pattern.
These blockers are an innovative solution that allows you to easily and quickly block your project.
Use: wash or moisten your knitting or crochet project. Then stretch the project onto a substrate that can withstand needles. We recommend these KnitPro mats for lace blocking. Attach your blockers along the edge of your project so the project keeps the shape as it dries.
The method is the same as if you used T-needles - the advantage of blockers is that you do not need nearly as many. In addition, these blockers are both stronger than T-needles and create a more uniform tension of your project as they are assembled by 4-8 needles per blocker.
The needles are stainless steel so you can safely use them with your project, even if it's wet.
The package contains 20 Knit Blockers: 12 of them with 8 needles and 8 of them with 4 needles.

I avoided blocking since i had to use so many t-pins and reaching into the container to grab each one was guaranteed to poke me in some way. It took ages to pin everything out. I don't know why this type of blocking pin isn't more widely produced. I haven't used them enough to know how long they remain rust-free, but i've been blocking way more than usual and actually enjoying it! They come in a great, compact case that is easy to get them out of and put them away in.

I have been loving these knit blockers so far. I'm using them to block a granny square Afghan that I'm working on and it is so much quicker to block squares with the longer pieces.
i think a few 2 pin blocks would be an excellent addition to this set!

I already had blocking wires and T-pins before I bought these, and I am so happy I got them. They are ideal for blocking baby blankets. My wires are a bit long for those, and you need a lot of T-pins if you use those, but these blockers worked great!
