Wonderful ribbon yarn from the Danish company Mayflower made of cotton, polyamide and viscose.
Ribbon is of incredibly high quality, as the yarn is not made from leftover materials from the textile industry, as ribbon yarn usually is. The yarn can be used for a myriad of interior projects, such as rugs, pillows, carpets, bags, bread baskets and potholders - the sky’s the limit :-)
You should be aware that the Mayflower Ribbon yarn is made from recycled cotton, which means that the colors may differ slightly from lot to lot. Because of this we recommend that you buy enough yarn for your entire project from the start, so that you can be sure that there is no color difference.
For the same reason, the color you receive may differ slightly from the images on this page.
NB: Take note that Mayflower now has Ribbon in a new quality (a slightly different composition than before). This means, if you’ve ordered Ribbon after 02nd February 2021, then the skeins may vary slightly in feel and color from Ribbon ordered before this date.

I've never used this Ribbon yarn before, but I was intrigued when I saw it. The price was great! So I order a dozen skeins and I wasn't disappointed!!! Beautiful colors, lovely texture, and easy to crochet. I'm half way through my first basket to give for Christmas. I'll have to post a picture when its finished. Love this Ribbon!

Love the texture of the yarn, really soft to the touch and smooth to crochet with.

excellent quality, it is good for making handbag/shoulder bag/tote bag, the bag keeps it's shape well as this yarn is not as elastic as normal yarn, it is suitable for fast projects!
