Dolce Sock Wool is our first-class series of sock yarn. It is a series of sock yarn for people who appreciate superior quality in particularly beautiful color combinations and patterns.
All of the Dolce Sock Wool series are produced exclusively for Hobbii by a small Italian spinning mill, which has produced sock yarns in absolute top class for generations.
The Stripes series offers slow and gradual color changes that is carefully designed so that it turns into super elegant, wide stripes. The delicate wool with long fibers is further reinforced with 25% polyamide, which helps to make it extra durable.
The stripes series comes with its own smart detail, so you can get the stripes the same on both socks, without any special tricks. Every skein has an inbuilt dividing line in the form of a white thread. It means you just knit your sock in the chosen size, bind off, and then unwind the yarn until you get to the white thread in the middle of the skein. Remove it, and then you can cast on sock number 2 and get the stripes matching to number 1.

This is a great sock yarn. When I looked at the colours in the ball (colour 02) , they were so subtle, but it knitted up with absolutely beautiful colour transitions. It has a nice stretch and excellent stitch definition.
