I made the tip to tip shawl in the Copenhagen colour way as my very first crochet shawl/scarf. I absolutely loved the yarn, it was lovely to work with and has a slight sheen to the finished product. It works up into lovely stripes and the Copenhagen looks just devine. I loved working with this yarn so much I have purchased more for when I am a little more experienced to tackle a tricker project. The pattern was easy enough for a beginner like me to follow! Thank you Hobbii for your wonderful range of yarns and patterns.

I am using Carnival to make my son a granny square afghan. It as a little hard to work with at first as the yarn is a little stiff and keeps curling. I am a beginner but I got the hang of working with it shortly. I have now done several of my squares and I am in love with how it looks. the color changes blend so well and they are very rich jewel tones. After I finished the first square, I love the look of it. It is so pretty compared to ones I have made with chunky yarns.

I purchased several skeins of Carnival in the Salvador color, and was gifted several others for my birthday. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, the yarn is true to size for a light weight worsted/DK yarn, and it’s easy to work with. I made a scarf from some of mine and it’s even been washed a few times now and it still looks great!

I purchased a few balls of three different colors and was very satisfied. If you have to rip out, shave the fabric first! Aside from that, this yarn is a dream. Very flexible and easy to work with. Hardly any splitting. It is very warm though. I made a shawl and some socks and slippers. I’ve been overheating in the socks!

Love, love, love Carnival! This yarn was beautiful to work with. At a #3, it was just the right thickness for my pocket shawl. The colors blossomed as I went and fell beautifully into place. I used Rio for my first project and have purchased Nice and Rijeka for more projects.
