We are crazy about glitter!
Hobbii Universe is an really nice yarn, with a long, elegant color gradient. Here a thin glittery thread is spun in, that can add a little sprinkle of glamour to any project. The glittery thread is so fine that it can hardly be felt - however it can be seen! It matches the yarn’s colors so you’ll get a really cool bling-effect, without being too ballroom.
You’ll go a long way with the 462 metres in a single skein, so not much is needed for a super festive shawl or poncho.

I'm almost done knitting my first ever sock with this and I absolutely LOVE the colour #21 "Sparkling Lights"! One sock barely used any yarn, so I'll have enough to make at least one more pair, which is amazing, because I just came back here to get more and colour 21 is sold out. (I'm ordering one each of the other colours that are left!) This yarn has REALLY long colour changes and the tinsel is luminous. The only complaint I have is that this yarn separates from the tinsel just a little bit, and the tinsel is broken in a couple places, but it's been easy to just knit those back into place. It's a one-ply yarn under the tinsel, so the yarn does not split easily. It's been great to use this for the first time I knit socks! (And my first time ordering from Hobbii!)

Universe is an amazing yarn by default but I hadn’t gotten the Christmas ones before! I got Christmas Comet and am so excited to make more projects with it! I swatches with a Granny Square and it’s soft as usual! Very sparkly with the glitter thread! I feel as though the glitter thread separated a bit more than I am used to with the other colors but it’s not terrible and easy to weave back in!

I adore this yarn. I've used several different colorways. I have to admit that the colors with gold sparkle are a scratchier than the colors with other colors of sparkle. However, it is so gorgeous. I love how it works up, either single or double stranded.

This yarn right here, it makes such pretty and soft garments. Even though it has the sparkle to it, it's super soft, no scratchy bits at all. I made a gorgeous scarf on my knitting machine and this yarn works up like a dream.
