Horizon Christmas is a super-Christmasy version of our lovely Horizon yarn. This soft yarn has a nice, full volume, and with these classic Christmas colors, everyone will feel the holiday spirit! Unleash the spirit of Christmas and get ready for a season full of cozy crafts, striped sweaters, soft Christmas pillows, and blankets that we can all cuddle up under while we wait patiently for Christmas day to arrive.
The Horizon line is spun from premium, anti-pilling acrylic of the highest quality. Among other things, this means that the yarn is processed multiple times, reminiscent of how wool yarn is made. The acrylic is combed, making it extra soft and fluffy. In addition, Horizon goes through a Hi-Bulk process where the yarn is steamed during production, making it contract slightly. This results in a pleasant, soft volume.
Horizon Oeko-tex certified, machine washable, and itch-free! It’s also a great alternative if you experience discomfort when wearing wool.
Horizon is colored in hanks, creating stunning color gradients and allowing the yarn to keep its volume. With this type of dying process, the colors may transfer slightly where the threads meet. It’s important to note that this happens before the color is fixated. The colors in the finished yarn will not rub off on each other. These color transfers may be seen as extra spots of color in the yarn.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

This is incredibly soft and easy to use--I turned it into a Christmas pullover for my daughter. One note--it tangles horribly out of the skein. Once I battled the first skein, I started rolling each of them into a ball, which works much better.
Loved working with Horizon yarn. Soft and beautiful.
I buy a lot from Hobbii. I ordered numbers 3 and 5. The colors look like the online pictures. They are soft. It's a mess to pull out of the skeins though. I did lots of cutting and winding. The package arrived partially open with the skeins exposed. Regardless of whose fault, the cheap plastic for international shipping isn't a good idea. The price is decent for what I received.
Love the colors and the feel of the yarn. Definitely a detangeling nightmare. I know you can work on this issue.
Loved the yarn after the 4 hours of untangling and cutting.
